Not heard of anything for the likes of Mer de Sable, West Midland Safari Park, Isla Magica or Bagatelle. Although Bagatelle did upload a photo recently of some mud with the caption "what's going on here"...

Seems like it’s been dragging on a bit that coaster over at Hellendoorn I thought that would have opened last seaso. Bagatelle seems to have been forgotten about in recent years there was quite a bit happening before they brought DM. Feels like they haven’t put anything new into west midland safari park

We've no idea if rattlesnake or pirate ship will be open for Easter as yet.

I find it interesting how the WFF boat is located right in the middle. Perhaps they are trying to capitalise on operating such a rare ride especially with GYPB closing their flume.

Yeah, I think so. I wouldn’t have put them up for needing to be replaced. The Safari cars I hope are new as they definitely need replacing,

Perhaps..yet this is all cosmetic work that should be going on in the background anyway....it will enhance the day experience yet its not what people want and its not investment that will return profit.

You say its not what people want, but a lot of people say that park is very run down and full of old - so surely sprucing up the run down rides helps to fix that?

Maybe a little mate yet they need to invest in fixing the ops on the little rides we have too. Aswell as getting new ones in. Yes the paint will help it look brighter yet sadly the empty plots and amount of SBNO we have will offset this.

Yes yet they will have invested by now if they wanted too. They won't listen to a solo emailer. All they need to do is look at the comments on social media from the last few years and anytime a new post is done. They know. They don't care.

Hopefully GYPB will be getting a big new coaster to replace the log flume, then hopefully Wipeout will no longer be the regions largest coaster and will push the group to invest

If you remember a few years ago there were plans to demolish the log flume and replace it with an arcade, so I wouldn't be surprised if that happened.

In an ideal world, this would be a great opportunity for them to expand the border of the park around that site and stick a few rides in there, or one major coaster.

Shame the existing castle and dive show can't be used instead of being sbno.

I've kind of had a similar idea, ground floor would be seating for a restaurant, and upstairs would have like a balcony that goes around the inside perimeter, with the walls full of old pictures/memories of the park!

We need something like that, since they put the soft indoor play into the old restaurant it hasn’t felt the same for me

They need a group pass really yet not enough on their portfolio for it yet.

Never know log flume may get finished

Its all swings and roundabouts really. Many families will also go to PWH for a more chilled day out, compared to the loud music of GYPB.

My parents, and even grand parents used to take me to PWH every year when I was younger, but they rarely took my to GYPB for some reason. I'm going to make a point of asking my mum why when I next see her!

There was way more to do at PWH until late 90s compared to GYPB. Hugely changed now. Well that and we are older. Lol

They only introduced the £5 entry to GYPB due to covid and decided to keep it. Just a shame because sometimes it was nice to to walk about, buy an ice cream and see what was going on, sometimes get tempted to pop on a ride. Now can't do that, for that reason i can't be arsed to visit. lol

It did open with more of a theme than it has now. Mostly hay bales mind!lol

And at least a couple of nice refurbs is something. I remember the years of never getting anything. No new rides and no improvements around the park at all.

There might be a few empty plots around the park right now, but in general it's a far cry from the depressing place it once was around the turn of the millennium.

Yeah loads of hay bales stacked up when it first opened. It just looked kinda messy though. A western theme would look great though. Just hope it’s a great effort with proper scenery and props. I’d like to see them do something on the old driving school plot opposite also.

Yet wasn't so much SBNO and empty plots as we have now though. It's brighter the park over yet a far emptier site than its ever been.

Yes it needs a revamp then so does half the park which has been allowed to rot. Yet another refurb won't bring folk in, Yes it will enhance their experience yet its not what we need and judging by the endless repeated social media comments its not what most importantly the public want.

oh yeah they did mention Moby, and with woody having a Pirate costume i think all the re =paints will be tied with that. My guess it's the Pirate ship.
